Working with Universities and University Contacts on HubSpot
This video will explain the importance of using university records and their associated contacts on HubSpot. It will explain how to find out information about a university or contact and keep records up to date.

To add a staff member to a record you must associate the contact with the correct company. You must also complete the 'university contact' property. If you have completed both of these tasks, you can be sure they will get the right communications.
If a staff member leaves a company you must remove the association with the company and you should also complete their 'inactive reason'.
When discussing your customer internally in email, it would be helpful to use the Company ID UNI0XX. This will ensure that we are referring to the correct record and make communication easier. You can also provide a link to the HubSpot record.
